California Residents – Your Right to Opt Out

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to direct California Solar Broker (“CSB”) to not sell or share their personal information.

“Sell” or “Share” means transferring your personal information to third parties for monetary value or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You may submit an opt-out request at any time to direct CSB to stop:

• Selling or sharing your personal information for marketing or advertising purposes;

• Using your personal information for targeted or retargeted advertising; or

• Transferring your information to lead-generation or affiliate partners for solicitation

How to Submit a Request

You may exercise your right to opt out by any of the following methods:

Verification and Processing

To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before completing your request. Verification may include confirming your name, phone number, or email address.
Once verified, we will honor your request within 15 business days of receipt and maintain a record of the transaction as required by law.

What Happens After You Opt Out

After you opt out:

• CSB will stop selling or sharing your personal information.

• You will no longer receive marketing communications (including SMS text or autodialed calls) covered by your request.

• We may still contact you for non-marketing purposes, such as to service existing inquiries, respond to requests you initiated, or comply with legal obligations.

• You may choose to opt in again at any time.

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

California Solar Broker does not sell personal information in exchange for money.
We may share limited personal information (such as name, phone, and city) with trusted service providers that help us deliver quotes, schedule consultations, or install systems — but only under strict contractual terms that prohibit them from using your information for any other purpose.

Additional Rights

In addition to the right to opt out, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we maintain about you;

• Delete your personal information (subject to lawful exceptions);

• Correct inaccurate information; and

• Limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information.

Exercising these rights will not result in discriminatory treatment or affect your access to our services.

Telemarketing / Do-Not-Call / Do-Not-Text Compliance

California Solar Broker fully complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the National Do Not Call Registry, and California’s Do-Not-Text regulations.

If you have previously provided consent to receive calls or text messages, you may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message or contacting us using the methods above. Your opt-out will be honored promptly.
